Music Monday: "Chemistry" by Rush and "Chemistry" by Semisonic

A dual Music Monday on a related yet unrelated theme:

One:

 and two:

These songs popped into my head while watching the NBA Draft on ESPN Thursday night. The coverage of the draft felt, for lack of a better term...off.

And I think it came down to a lack of chemistry.

Look, plenty of individuals click off camera. Hell, even sometimes people can click in pairs or trios.

But sometimes the dynamics of a crew simply don't work.

It akin to everyday life. Sometimes, you encounter people that you just click with automatically in a short time. That's chemistry. There's no way to determine exactly how it occurs—but you know it when it happens to you.

And I'm not necessarily talking about romantic connections. Chemsitry happens with friends, with co-workers, with lots of people that you spend time with.

Sometimes it's slow to build. Sometimes it's a quick, combustible reaction.

But when it's good...it's great.
