Music Monday: "I Need A Dollar"
It's been three years, but the sting is still there, raw as ever.
Three years ago yesterday. 2:30pm. The "Boss Man" at the time told me he didn't need my services anymore.
It took nearly three years before I found employment. I'm working at a true 8am-5pm job now. I have to actually clock in at 8am and clock out at 5pm. I get a one hour lunch and two fifteen minute breaks in that 9 hour window. I also make about 25 percent less now than I did three years ago.
I've vented a bit of my frustrations about things before and how it all shook out. I have more I could say on the subject, and I just might at some point.
But for now, I just want to share the music.
