Music Monday: Keane — Everybody's Changing
A Melancholy Music Monday on this third day of summer:
It's one of those things about this time of year. A parade of graduations and weddings and promotions/new jobs cross the timeline on Facebook or via emails and text messages. And while I can't help but feel excited for those who are moving forward with new experiences, I also can't seem to shake the feeling that I'm kind of spinning my wheels.
Of course, I am not trying to lay blame anywhere; I realize now I could have/should have done more to take greater control of my professional life. Not that that would have alleviated some of the melancholy I feel, it might have helped if I had taken more control.
Maybe I wouldn't feel like everybody's changing, and I would know why.
