2014 Christmas Countdown Song: I Won't Be Home For Christmas by Blink-182

Welcome to the first in a series of posts that I am writing to lead into Christmas this year.

The purpose of these posts is to force me to write and publish on a daily basis, and it has the added benefit of allowing me to share some the tunes that I find myself humming or singing this time of year.

I'm kicking it off with an admittedly unusual choice. I am probably too old to enjoy this kind of song, but there are potentially more immature songs to come. But this song appeals to the 12 year old boy inside of me. I refuse to apologize for that.

Now granted, there are no carolers coming around where I live, and I would probably simply just ignore them and hide inside instead.
