2014 Christmas Song Countdown: Carol of the Bells by Straight No Chaser

Ding...dong...ding...dong.

When I joined chorus senior year of high school this is what I was slated to sing as a bass. I don't think I really qualified as a bass, but it was an easy enough place to hide yours truly and my mediocre singing voice.

But this one has always been among my favorite Christmas songs. Something about the rhythmic nature of the song, the simplicity in how it repeats itself and then simply ends, and of course it can also be interpolated with other songs (and can be used as an interpolation itself).

And the guys who sing this song, well, you'll see them again later this week.
