2014 Christmas Countdown Song: Christmastime is Here by Vince Guaraldi Trio

When I was growing up, my sister used to joke about the fact that the recording for this song sounded so scratchy every time the special came on television in early December. I feel confident that it used to be on CBS until ABC acquired the rights a while back.

I've owned it on VHS tape and now on DVD. My cubicle at work has the sad little tree set up along with plastic figures of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus and Lucy.

I had someone I called my little red haired girl, but we won't talk about that right now.

Suffice to say, when I hear this song, I know it's the holidays.
